Last items for the show...can't sew anymore!!

Just finished up my last few items for the Summer Bash tomorrow.  Its 10 pm and I MUST get some SLEEP!

I thought these were appropriate seeing as we are coming to the end of Summer and Everyone will be making that LAST trip before school starts...

I love these handy dandy Chalk Mats.  One side has a "CHALK FABRIC" and the other a children inspired designer fabric.  I have used ribbon and acrylic snaps (attached using my 100 lb snap setter :) ) to keep the mats closed.  Easy to open and easy to roll back up.

These are especially great to keep kids entertained at the dinner table in Restaurants, Doctors Offices, City Bus, Subway, Train...anywhere the kids need to be sitting still...yet want something to do!

Bows, Bits, and Bobs

Here are a few more items to be featured at my booth on Friday!

The Bow Holders Have 3 VERY long ribbons perfect for attaching all those bow's your little Angel has.  The backs are lined with felt to help protect your wall. $15.00 each

These Elegant and Fun Bathroom signs are perfect for Housewarming Gift, Your Extra Powder room, in your office, or just to hang in your Cute Shabby Chic Bedroom!!  $10.00 each

These last goodies here are Lovely little Manicure set holders.  These all include 1 clipper, 1 tweeze, and 1 file.  There are two extra slots for you to add any additional manicure items you may need or use!  Each set features a Super Couture Girl.  The holder has Matching Snap closure and gorgeous cordinating fabrics!   $20.00

These will make Great graduation gifts, birthday gifts, thank you's, or just a nice little treat for YOUR OWN purse!

Involved in a little Swap Action

A group of fellow Crafty Mammas and myself decided to do a CRAFT SWAP!  Thanks Lyndsay for organizing the WHOLE THING!!  She is such a crafty and talented person herself!

Here is what my WONDERFUL Swap buddy sent me ALL The WAY FROM AUSTRALIA!

The Whole SHabang!
I'm a matryoshka Doll NUT!  These are soo beautiful!
I have been looking for these everywhere...they are measuring cups!!

These Quilts are getting made as soon as my Craft Show is over on Friday!!! LOVE THEM!

By the way if you'd like to see my PARTNER...Her blog is here Nicki

SAY CHEESE!!

I stayed up last night trying to make a few "new" things.  I had enough leather laying around that I could create 4 camera straps.  I love them and I am VERY pleased with how they turned out.  I EVEN REMEMBERED to put my label on them!! yippee!

I can even monogram and personalize these...how cute would that be.  Especially for the graduating sr. , Baby Shower gift, Newly Weds!  Even for that man in your life.  What man doesn't want his FAV sports team around his neck while he's snapping shots of himself at the BIG GAME!

Bon Appetit

I wanted to create some new items for my show on Friday.  Yes I will be at the Summer Bash on Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque...IF you are in town...come by and say hi!

One of my FAVORITE meals is Herb de' Provence Roasted Chicken!! YUM..well I baked that the other day so I have been in a FRENCH mood :)

Here is a LOVELY apron to share in the French theme!  I have Pieced the top out of Moda Avignon Charm pack... I pulled out all the blue's and yellows and some creme'.  ITs VERY PROVINCIAL  don't ya think!  After piecing I did a nice all over squiggle quilting on it, and beautiful SUMMER yellow thread.

I bordered it with an ivory Tile Mosaic from the Lantern Bloom Collection.  I also made the straps with this fabric.  I'm going to add some flowers to it too...maybe...

I used my quilt machine to write Bon Appetit!!

Recovering from Vacation...but boy was it fun!

We had a great time visiting with family this last week and half.  I won't give you a headache describing our complicated plans...but lets just say there was a lot of you drive this car here, i'll dive here, and we'll all meet here.

We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge.  We had soo much fun!! I thought my kids were going to shrivel up into prunes!  We were there Thurs- Mon, but took one day off to head to my aunts house about 30 minutes away.  Great Family reunion and My Aunt Rocks for opening up her house to all of us!

Im sure some family members are going to kill me for these pictures, but i think they are GREAT!  We had water slides, Adventure Quests, and LOTS OF FOOD!  I think I gained 5 LBS!!! UGH
